Pricing

Real numbers. No “request a quote.”

Most agencies in this category make you fill out a form and sit through a call before they'll tell you a price. We publish the ranges instead. What moves you inside one is scope, and you'll know where you land in the first conversation.

What you get either way

  • 01 Build and rank The site, and the search work behind it
  • 02 Hostage-free Domain and backups stay in your accounts
  • 03 Published pricing No “request a quote”
  • 04 Rank-safe migration Existing rankings carried across
  • 05 Operator-built We have run service businesses
  • 06 Timeline in writing Agreed up front, before you commit

Pricing

Published pricing. No request a quote.

Most agencies in this category make you sit through a call before they will tell you whether you can afford them. Here are the numbers instead. Every tier says who it is for, what happens each month, and what is not in it.

01 Build

Website builds

A one-time project you own outright. Domain, code, content: all in your accounts, not ours.

You need a real site for one town, built once and built right.

Starter site

$1,500 one-time

The core site a local operator actually needs: services, service area, proof, plus a phone number that is never more than a thumb away.

Everything in it

What is in it

  • Custom design tuned to your trade
  • Services, service area and contact built to convert
  • Local + AI-search structure baked in
  • Mobile-first against a performance budget

What you'll see

  • A site that loads fast on a phone and puts the call button in reach
  • Your services and your service area stated the way buyers search them
  • Every login in your name on the day it goes live

Not included Per-city page sets and published pricing pages are the Growth site. Ongoing search work is a separate monthly engagement.

What moves the number Page count, and how much of the content we write for you.

Website Redesign Landing Pages

You run several services across several towns and you want pages that earn traffic on their own.

Growth site

$2,500 one-time

The Starter site plus the pages that earn search traffic on their own: per-service and per-city pages, published pricing, and the proof library.

Everything in it

What is in it

  • Everything in Starter
  • Service × service-area page set
  • Published pricing and quote flows
  • Gallery, reviews, proof built in

What you'll see

  • A page for each service in each town you actually work
  • Quote flows that qualify a job before the phone rings
  • A proof library you can point a hesitant buyer at

Not included Custom application work sits in the Custom tier. Moving off an old site that already ranks? Rank-safe migration attaches to any build as a $400 line item.

What moves the number How many service areas you need covered, and how many services get their own page.

Website Redesign Local SEO

You need something beyond the standard build, or you have a site with rankings that cannot be lost in the move.

Custom builds

from $3,000 one-time

Larger builds and custom work, plus migrations where an existing site has rankings that have to survive the move.

What is in it

  • Everything in Growth
  • Custom application work beyond the standard build
  • Rank-safe migration off the old site, $400 as a line item when it applies
  • Integrations with the tools you already run on

What you'll see

  • The bespoke pages your business actually needs, built to rank

  • Rankings watched daily for 30 days after cutover, reported to you

Not included Rank-safe migration off an existing site attaches as a $400 line item where there are rankings to carry across.

What moves the number Whether there are rankings to carry across, and how much of the build is bespoke rather than assembled.

Website Redesign Landing Pages

You own the site and you just want it looked after.

$99 per month

Care Plan

  • Hosting managed and monitored
  • Core and plugin updates applied
  • Backups taken, with a restore that has actually been tested
  • Uptime monitoring, with an alert when something goes down
  • A held page-speed budget
  • Up to 2 small content edits a month

Not included This is site upkeep, not marketing. It does not rank you, and anything bigger than a small edit is quoted before we touch it.

Start here

You have no site at all, or a Facebook page doing the job of one.

Starter Presence

$750 one-time

For an operator running the whole business off a Facebook page, or off nothing at all.

One professional page on your own domain, your Google Business Profile set up properly, and the measurement already installed. Fixed scope, fixed price.

Built so there is something worth ranking by the time you want to rank it.

Google Business Profile Management Landing Pages

What you get, in full

  • A single professional page built on your trade's template, carrying your branding, your services, your service area, plus your reviews
  • Google Business Profile created or claimed, then optimised: categories, services, service area, photos
  • Click-to-call and a lead form, both actually working on a phone
  • Tracking basics installed: Google Analytics 4, Search Console, plus call and form events
  • Launched on your own domain, in your name, with every login yours from day one

What you'll see

  • A real page a customer can be sent to instead of a Facebook wall
  • A profile that shows the right categories, hours and service area
  • Calls and form fills counted from day one, so the next decision has data behind it

Not included Multi-page architecture, an ongoing search program and a content program are not in this. Those are the Build ladder and the Local Engine, and they are the next step rather than a hidden extra.

Where it goes next When you are ready, this page becomes the first page of a full build, and the profile work carries straight into the Local Engine at $1,500 a month. Nothing here gets rebuilt and nothing gets paid for twice.

02 Search

Search & SEO

The ongoing work that decides whether anyone ever sees the site you paid for.

Start on the Local Engine. Move up to the Market Engine when you are ready to own more than one town, and to the In-House Engine when you want a marketing department without the hire.

One crew, one town, and the phone should ring more than it does.

Everything in it

What happens monthly

  • Your site's pages worked every month
  • Your Google Business Profile worked every week
  • A steady stream of review asks going out, and replies drafted for approval
  • Your listings kept clean and consistent across the directories that carry weight
  • Technical health watched, so nothing on the site quietly breaks
  • An AI-search baseline tracked
  • A plain-English monthly report, and a real call to go through it

What you'll see

  • Movement on your core services in the map pack first, because that is where the calls are
  • More reviews landing every month, and every one of them answered
  • A named list each month of what shipped, what moved, and what is queued next

Not included Multi-market page coverage, expanded listings and the AI-search program at full strength are the Market Engine. We would rather tell you when you are ready for it than sell it to you early.

What moves the number The price is flat. What changes is where the effort points: a harder town, or more services, means the same monthly hours aimed at fewer targets, and we say which before you sign. Page counts and posting frequency are agreed in writing per engagement, so scope cannot quietly drift.

Local SEO Google Business Profile Management Review Management

  • The AI-search program at full strength, included rather than added on
  • Listings and directories expanded, not just cleaned
  • Content built to be quoted, not just to rank

What you'll see

  • Your business named in AI answers when a buyer asks who to call
  • A listing footprint that matches how big you actually are

Everything in it

What happens monthly

  • Everything in the Market Engine
  • Placements on established platforms your buyers already trust
  • Link campaigns pitched to real publishers
  • Your social profiles kept alive and on-brand
  • Video creative for the jobs you want more of
  • Conversion testing on the pages that already get traffic
  • A quarterly sit-down on where the business goes next

What you'll see

  • A presence across platforms that reads like an in-house team runs it
  • More of the traffic you already have turning into booked work
  • A named plan each quarter for where the next dollar goes

Not included We still do not sell paid ad management, and we still will not commit to a monthly number of editorial links. Both get the same answer at every tier. This tier is also capacity-capped: a few seats, run deep, and we will say plainly if one is not open yet.

What moves the number Capacity, not scope creep. We run a small number of these engagements at a time so the work stays deep rather than spread thin across too many accounts.

Link Building AI Search Optimization Conversion Rate Optimization

Contract terms Search work runs on a 90-day initial term, then month to month. Foundations take a quarter to show real movement, and we would rather say that up front than sell you month one twice. After the first 90 days you stay because it's working, not because a contract says so.

Link acquisition campaigns

Scoped separately

Editorial links are earned from real publishers one at a time, so on the Local and Market Engines they are quoted as a campaign with named targets rather than dropped into a retainer as a monthly quota. Included in the In-House Engine.

Nobody can guarantee links. An agency that promises you a number of them every month is either buying them or not delivering them, and you end up paying for both.

Why organic, in one picture

The clicks you'd otherwise rent.

This is a real page one for a real trade search, and what a click on the paid part of it costs. We don't sell ad management. We build the part of the page you stop paying rent on: the map pack and the rankings under it.

Ownership

What you'll own: all of it.

We set these up. You keep the keys. Every one of them is billed to you directly by the company providing it, so nothing about leaving requires our permission.

Your domain about $15 a year
Registered in your name, in your registrar account. We take nameserver access only, and you can revoke it in five minutes.
Your hosting typically $0 to $20 a month
In your own account, on your own card. Most local-service sites sit at the free end of that range.
Your email about $7 per user a month
Google Workspace on your own domain, in your name. You add and remove people yourself, without asking us.
Your CMS no extra cost
Admin access is yours on day one, not on request. We built it, and you can still open the hood.

Third-party costs are stated up front, they are always yours, and they are always in your control. That is the whole of the hostage-free clause, and it is in the contract rather than in the marketing.

What the engagement commits us to, including the hostage-free domain terms and a plain statement that no ranking outcome is guaranteed.

If it's not here, ask us. We answer in plain language, and we'll tell you when the answer is no.

Ask us a question
What's the cheapest way to start?
Starter Presence, at $750 one-time. One professional page on your own domain, your Google Business Profile set up and optimised, click-to-call and a lead form, and the tracking installed so you can see what it does. It's the right first move if you're running the business off a Facebook page today. Nothing in it gets thrown away later: the page becomes the first page of a full build, and the profile work carries straight into the Local Engine. If you already have a site and need real architecture, start at the Build ladder instead, from $1,500.
What's the difference between the three search tiers?
Reach and coverage, mostly. The Local Engine at $1,500 a month is one town and one crew: pages built and improved, the Google Business Profile worked weekly, reviews, listings, technical upkeep, an AI-search baseline, and a monthly call. The Market Engine at $3,000 a month runs that same work across every market you serve, expands your listings, and puts the AI-search program at full strength. The In-House Engine at $6,000 a month adds what an in-house marketing hire would own: placements, PR-grade link campaigns, social presence, video creative, conversion testing and a quarterly strategy session, and it's capacity-capped by design. If you're one town with one crew, the Local Engine is the honest answer and we'll say so.
Is there a contract?
Search work runs on a 90-day initial term, then month to month. Foundations take a quarter to show real movement, and we would rather say that up front than sell you month one twice. After the first 90 days you stay because it's working, not because a contract says so. The Care Plan is different: pure month to month from day one, cancel any time. And you own everything either way, your domain, your code, your content, so that never depends on staying.
What do I actually own, and what does it cost me?
All of it, and the third-party costs are yours directly rather than marked up through us. Your domain sits in your registrar, about $15 a year. Hosting is in your own account, typically $0 to $20 a month for a site this size. Google Workspace email on your domain runs about $7 per user a month. CMS admin access is yours from day one at no extra cost. We set every one of them up in your name and you keep the keys, so leaving takes five minutes and needs nobody's permission.
Do I have to take the SEO retainer with a build?
No. Plenty of operators start with the build alone. The honest version: a new site with no search work behind it will look better and still be hard to find. If you're not ready for the retainer, we'd rather you knew that up front than discovered it in six months.
Why is the build a range and not one price?
Because scope genuinely varies. A six-page site for one town is not the same job as thirty service-area pages plus a migration that has to protect existing rankings. We tell you where you land in the first conversation, and that number is the number on the invoice.
Is the Care Plan the same as SEO?
No, and this is the one we're most direct about. The Care Plan at $99 a month is hosting managed, updates applied, backups taken, and up to two small content edits a month. That's it. It keeps the site online and current, and it does not rank you. Anything bigger than a small edit gets quoted before we touch it. Search work is a separate monthly engagement on a separate ladder, and a client who buys upkeep expecting rankings has been mis-sold.
Do you do paid ads (Google Ads, Meta Ads)?
No. We focus on organic plus automation: getting you found in Google Maps, in AI search, and converting the visitors you already get. If you want paid ad management, we'll point you to operators we trust who run that. It's just not what we do.
Do you charge for revisions?
First two rounds of revisions are included in the build price. Most operators only need one. After two rounds, additional revisions are $150/hr, and this almost never happens.
Why is the build cheaper than a typical agency, but the retainer isn't?
Because they're different kinds of work and we price them honestly. The build is productized: the same proven architecture with your content in it, no custom dev per client, and no account managers or coordinators to pay for. That genuinely costs less to produce, and the saving goes to you. The monthly search work is the opposite. It's hours of real work every month by the person doing it, and a retainer priced under what that work costs is a promise that quietly degrades. We'd rather publish a number we can deliver against every month than a cheap one we can't.
Do you take payment plans?
Yes. Standard split: 50% to start the build, 50% on launch. Reach out and we'll work with you.
What if I want to cancel?
Depends which ladder. Search retainers run the 90-day initial term described above, then month to month, and either side can end it with written notice before the next billing date after that. The Care Plan was always month to month and cancels any time, prorated for the current month. A build is a one-time project, not a subscription: if you stop partway through, you pay for the work completed and we hand over what's been produced. Whichever one you're on, your site stays. Your domain stays. Your data stays. That's the hostage-free clause, and it's in the contract, not just in the marketing.

Ready to stop losing customers to the guy with a better site?

Fifteen minutes, no discovery deck. We'll tell you what we'd build, what we'd rank, and what it costs. And if we're not the right fit, we'll say that too.
